Shiny happy people

It's a common belief that positive thinking leads to a happier healthier life. As children we are told to smile, be cheerful, and put on a happy face. As adults we are told to look on the bright side, to make lemonade, and see glasses as half full.

Sometimes reality can get in the way of our ability to act the happy part though.

Your hope can fail, boyfriends can cheat, friends can disappoint. It's in these moments, when you just want to get real, drop the act, and be your true scared unhappy self.

Luca's birthday

Luca is 4 yo! He's already four years old, it seems it was just some months ago when he arrived home weighting no more than three kilos. He could be hold with just one arm, actually he was hold like that for some weeks while we fed him with his bottles. Anyway, in these four years he became a big boy, free and happy. About me, in these four years I began and almost ended my degree as a vet. And I also became a big boy, almost as free and happy as my dog.

EVERYTHING

There is a day when you realise you want to do everything, you want to be everything. And you are glad, because you are in the right place and your entire life is waiting for you.

Poem to a horse

"I'd rather eat my soup with a fork or drive a cab in New York,
cause to talk to you is harder work.
So what's the point of wasting all my words,
if it's just the same or even worse than reading poems to a horse.


I leave again cause I've been waiting in vain."
